Over the weekend, Koken.com sold at auction for £7,820, or $12,450 USD. But just who or what is “Koken?”
The best bet is probably Koken Co, Ltd, a Japanese company that makes a variety of medical devices and implants. Interestingly, this sale is less than a week after Qmed.com– the name of a Swedish implant manufacturer sold for $20,000. It could be coincidence, but my guess is the two sales are related. Maybe some cybersquatter thinks the names can be used as blackmail for free plastic surgery?
A few more notable sales:
geschenk.be- €5,000
pals.net- $2,670
incomeelite.com- $2,250
allopass.se- €2,000
rhubarb.co.uk- £1,651
