Christian.com sells for $600,000

First there was Rosary.com for £48,388, then Jesus.net for £73,442. Now Christian.com has sold for a whopping £366,100 ($600,000 USD) in a private sale.

This summer has truly been an active one for Christian domains. As you can see, the sale of Christian.com far surpasses all other previous religion domain sales.

That being said, I think the name is worth considerably more. There are more than 1 billion Christians worldwide, so the domain has the potential to attract a very wide audience. I’ll leave it up to the theologians and porn stars to debate whether it has a larger market than sex.com, though.
