Cheap web hosting

I came across a forum user today looking for cheap web hosting:

I need a cheap web hosting company. The rate should be $2 per month and should be of US IP only. The space should be minimum of 600 MB…

Please let me know if anyone have these feature hosting company.

While many people are tight on cash these days, a $2/month isn’t going to cut it. The individual in question will probably have to triple or quadruple his budget.

I’m sure you could find a less than reputable host who would take a customer for two dollars, but I wouldn’t expect much in the way of reliability, support, or performance. Do you really want to find that your site goes down at its most critical moment, or that it takes weeks to have simple support queries answered? Do you want people to have trouble reaching your website and sluggish performance? A cheap web host can only mean trouble.
