Nothing as good as call.com has sold since yesterday, but avid readers will appreciate the sale for allaboutbooks.com for £7679, or $12,500 USD.
I’m honestly surprised this name sold for so much. Allaboutbooks.com simply is not a premium domain but it sold for a premiun price. It has three words, is relatively long, and when looking for books, few think of the phrase “all about.”
The name isn’t bad, just not strikingly good. I might be impressed if a friend told me he owned bookreviews.com or readingbooks.com, but few end users would go wild over allaboutbooks.com.
Other recent sales include ConnecticutAutoInsurance.com for $ 11,500, bodysystem.com for $10,000, sportsunlimited.com also for $10,000, and HealthInsuranceProvider.com for $ 8,500.
