Mouse.com, Keyboard.com sell for big bucks

You might not think your keyboard and mouse are worth much, but the related domains are. Crash-strapped Live Current Media, a Canadian start-up that monetizes premium domains, is liquidating some of its cyber real estate. Apparently mouse.com and keyboard.com weren’t good enough to be monetized, so the company told them recently for £76,501 ($125,000 USD) and £61,201 ($100,000 USD) respectively.

Not too shabby for a pair of domains not making money, eh? If Live Current Media wanted to get rid of them, it should have contacted me before sending them to auction. At this point the buyer (or buyers) is unknown.

The only real problem I see with the names is keyboards and mice are overlooked by most computer users. Most people just use whatever comes with their computer or go to to a local retail store and pick up something cheap. It would be hard to set up a website dedicated only to one of these products.
