Looking to boost your site’s traffic? Chances are good if you’ve ever researched web marketing techniques, you’ve run into at least one traffic service. Generally, they promise to send thousands of hits to a site for as little as £5.
Are these sites scams? Not at all. They will send you how many hits you order, but the traffic won’t be real. Statistics software records a visit when it sees that a page has loaded. It doesn’t check to see if anyone actually read the pages, however.
These services simply program servers to visit customers’ URLs over and over again. Often times proxies or servers in multiple countries are used to make the visits appear authentic. But either way fake traffic is fake traffic. Invest your hard-earned money elsewhere.
