BookHotels.com sells for €50,000

It’s been a busy week on the domain auction block. One of the higher sales of this week is BookHotels.com, which sold for €50,000, or £43,039 ($71,205 USD).
This price makes BookHotels.com the most expensive hotel domain on record. The previous record holder is ResortHotels.com, which sold for $58,830 in February.
For the germophobic, GermProof.com also sold for £15,111 ($25,000 USD). Some other noteworthy sales include discountlaptops.com for $23,760, officelife.com for $15,000, and filesearch.com for $10,000.
